Online Marketing & PR Intern [Netherlands]


 

Sony Electronics Benelux is looking for an online marketing & PR intern for the Customer Marketing Communication department (m / f). Under the guidance of the Online and PR team of Sony Benelux you will have the opportunity to contribute to the online marketing strategy of Sony. During this internship you will be given the opportunity to improve and develop your own competencies.
With your passion for online marketing and PR, you ensure that Sony’s products are properly featured on Sony’s own online platforms as well as in external media. You have a strong drive to further expand the online market share of Sony and you understand the relevance of good content. Therefore, optimizing texts, photos and videos is something you enjoy doing. You’ve got eye for detail to independently check online assets and adjust if necessary.
In addition, you will help the team with creating content for our social media channels, set-up influencer campaigns and support organizing cool events for media and influencers. This will be for the promotion of Bluetooth speakers, headphones, cameras, and other electronics. You'll also coordinate review requests, handle sponsorship requests, and archive all Sony news in the media.
During this internship you’ll work closely with other (European) marketing and sales departments. This position offers the prospect of gaining relevant work experience regarding the online marketing field within a large multinational.
Position Responsibilities
  • Optimize text, photos, videos and webpages of Sony’s products
  • Set-up a planning and create relevant content for social media
  • Contribute to the development of online promotion campaigns
  • Devise and execute creative PR and influencer campaigns
  • Responding to media requests and delivering digital content
  • Coordinating results and planning PR activities to Sony Europe (London)
  • Collaborating with external Media and PR/influencer agencies in NL and BE
  • Revising and writing press releases
The Ideal Candidate
  • University or School of Applied Science in the field of Media/Marketing/Communication/Branding
  • Available for a minimum period of 20 weeks /40 hours per week (32 hours in case of thesis)
  • Fluency in Dutch and knowledge in English (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge and experience with Adobe Photoshop is an advantage.

The internship starts September 2023 and the compensation amounts to € 562.50 per month.
